Eligibility Criteria
Minimum marks of 55% for the LLB degree (three years of professional experience following graduation or 5 years after 10 , plus 2,) exam. Additionally, the CLAT PG Score from the preceding year is required for all applicants (including LLM qualified and LLM applicants) who are applying for courses beginning in a specific year. Candidates must be able to be registered as an advocate with the Bar Council of India/ State. The candidate must be a student in a college or University that is accredited by Bar Council of India.

Selection Procedure for JAG Entry Scheme
The Integrated Headquarters of MoD (Army) is able to reserve the rights to shortlist applicants, without assigning a reason. Following the shortlisting process and after the selection Centre allotment is communicated to the applicants by email. After allotment to the Selection Centre, candidates will need to login to the website and choose their SSB dates, which are accessible on a first come , first basis at first. After that, the dates is assigned to the selection Centres. The possibility of selecting which dates to be used for SSB by applicants could be taken away in the case of an exceptional event or circumstance.
Candidates who have been shortlisted are invited to take part in SSB interview at Selection Centres, Allahabad(UP), Bhopal(MP), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Kapurthala (PB). Call-up letters in respect of SSB examination will be given by the respective Selection Centre on candidate’s registered email address and/or SMS only. Allotment to the Selection Centre will be at the discretion of the Directorate General of Recruiting, IHQ of the MoD (Army) as well any request for changes will not be considered in this respect..
Candidates will go through a two stages of selection. Candidates who pass Stage I will move on through Stage II. The candidates who fail stage I will be re-invited within the day. Duration of SSB interview is five days and details of the same are available on official website of Directorate General of Recruiting i.e, www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. The next step is an examination for medical candidates recommended for the post after Stage II.
